SAFETY AT EVERY STEP

CLEAR COMMUNICATION

Honest information, straightforward explanations and regular progress updates.

SECURE PROCESSES

Personal information, documentation and payments handled carefully.

THOROUGH CHECKS

Relevant identity, affordability, rental-history and suitability checks completed before a tenancy proceeds.

PERSONAL SUPPORT

Guidance from the first enquiry and property viewing through to payment and key handover.

IN-PERSON REASSURANCE

Important appointments and initial payments completed face to face wherever required, providing a clear record and greater accountability.

DEPOSIT PROTECTION WITHOUT THE WAIT

Prompt Protection. Clear Evidence. Immediate Peace of Mind.

Once your tenancy deposit has been paid and the transaction confirmed, Ashcroft Rose protects it through MyDeposits, a government-authorised tenancy deposit protection scheme.

The legal timeframe allows landlords and letting agents up to 30 days after receiving a tenancy deposit to protect it and provide the required information.

At Ashcroft Rose, we do not believe tenants should be left waiting unnecessarily for confirmation that their money is protected.

We register the deposit and provide the Deposit Protection Certificate and Prescribed Information straight away after confirmed payment—normally within minutes, including when the payment is completed during an in-person office appointment.

WHY PAYMENTS ARE COMPLETED IN PERSON

Greater Security Through Face-to-Face Confirmation.

Greater Security Through Face-to-Face Confirmation.

Online communication and property advertising platforms are extremely useful, but online property activity can sometimes be targeted by impersonation, misleading adverts or payment fraud.

Ashcroft Rose therefore places particular importance on face-to-face confirmation for initial tenancy payments.

Completing the payment at an arranged office appointment means:

  • You know who you are dealing with
  • The relevant tenancy information can be reviewed
  • The payment purpose and amount can be confirmed
  • Both parties have a clear record of the transaction
  • Questions can be answered before payment
  • Deposit protection can be arranged immediately after receipt
  • Everyone involved has greater accountability and peace of mind

This is an additional safeguard within the Ashcroft Rose process.

Ashcroft Rose will clearly confirm all payment arrangements with you. Initial tenancy payments are completed in person at an arranged office appointment. If you receive unexpected or conflicting payment instructions, contact us using the official details published on this website before taking any action.
